Sam Ahn (안쌤)
Sam Ahn is a disruptor and innovator in global K-12 education. He holds two master’s degrees in education and technology and currently pursuing a doctorate in Instructional Technology and Media at Columbia University. His research includes using game mechanics and dynamics to increase learner engagement and motivation.

Passion Academies (Stony Brook School)
Sam is the Director of Passion Academies at Gravitas, an online extension of Stony Brook School (NY). 뉴욕 롱아일랜드에 있는 스토니브룩 학교 온라인 열정 아카데미를 디렉터로써 담당하고 미래교육 수업을 설계하며 가르친다.
Passion Academies allow students to explore, ignite, and cultivate their passions through interactive and interdisciplinary project-based courses, guest lectures from industry professionals, case studies and partnerships with real-world organizations, and research and design activities. In the program, students learn by doing. Increasingly, skills that are demanded in the digital age include creativity, empathy, critical thinking, innovation, systems analysis, technology design, leadership, social influence, and problem-solving to tackle complex problems in the world. These skills are best cultivated through problem-based learning approaches that ask students to design solutions to real-world problems.

What is the T.I.E. program? How would it benefit me?
T.I.E. program is designed to provide K-12 students with an inspiring, hands-on experience in technology and entrepreneurship. The program will focus on career readiness and 21st Century skill development, such as:
